Terms of Service

Draft. These terms are a plain-language starting point and are being reviewed by an attorney. The full agreement between League Six and each league will be signed before any payments are processed.

League Six is a product of Team Steele Six, based in Reno, Nevada ("we," "us"). These terms cover leaguesix.com and the League Six service. By using either, you agree to them.

The service

League Six gives sports leagues a website and tools to manage seasons, teams, players, registrations, and related records. Some features are still being built. We describe which ones are available on our Features and Pricing pages.

Your league's responsibilities

  • You're responsible for the content you post, including news, photos, player information, and videos, and for having permission to post it.
  • You're responsible for your waiver, terms, and other agreements you ask players to sign, and for making sure they fit your state's laws. League Six provides the signing tools, not legal advice.
  • If you collect payments, you're responsible for your own Stripe account, your refund policy, and any taxes that apply.
  • Don't use League Six for anything illegal, harmful, or deceptive, or to post content that harasses or endangers anyone, especially minors.

Fees

Our current prices are on the Pricing page. If we change prices, we'll give active leagues at least 30 days' notice. Founding League pricing is honored as described when you sign up.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Money goes to the league's (or team's) own Stripe account, and League Six does not hold league funds. Stripe's own terms also apply.

Your data

Your league's data belongs to your league. We'll export it for you on request. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal information.

Availability

We work hard to keep League Six running, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. The service is provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending service

You can stop using League Six at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. If we ever shut down the service, we'll give you notice and a chance to export your data.
